FREE ENGRAVING AND PERSONALIZATION
Hand wash: Wash the board by hand after each use with warm water and dish soap. Avoid using the dishwasher, as the detergents and heat can damage the wood.
Dry immediately: Wipe the board dry with a clean towel immediately after washing. Don't let it air dry, as this can cause warping.
Use mineral oil: Apply food-grade mineral oil to the board a few times a month to prevent stains and extend the life of the board. Use a clean, dry rag to rub the oil into the wood, following the grain. Let the board absorb the oil for a few minutes, hours, or even overnight. Then, wipe off any excess oil.
Use beeswax: Mix two parts mineral oil with one part beeswax, warm the mixture, and rub it into the board. Let it sit for 4–6 hours, then wipe off any excess oil. Beeswax can help moisturize and shine the board, and it can also make it more water resistant.
Sanitize: To sanitize the board, you can use diluted white vinegar or a combination of bleach and water. You can also sprinkle salt on the board and rub it with half a lemon to get rid of odors.
Don't soak: Avoid soaking the board in water, as this can cause warping and cracking.
